As Director of Development Operations, you will create and implement systems supporting the development team's strategic goals. This includes managing data, analytics, and reporting functions, overseeing donor engagement tools, and ensuring smooth coordination across departments. You will play a vital role in enhancing the impact and scalability of development initiatives by establishing effective processes and using data-driven insights to guide decision-making.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Develop and manage donor lifecycle strategies, including acquisition, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship, to optimize donor retention and long-term giving.
• Assist the Executive Director in strategic planning by providing insights and recommendations on donor engagement, lifecycle optimization, growth strategies, and team development.
• Build, lead, and manage the development team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure effective collaboration and high performance across all fundraising initiatives.
• Create and implement tailored strategies for small, medium, and large donors, ensuring that each segment receives appropriate engagement and stewardship to maximize their long-term commitment and impact.
• Oversee donor management systems, CRM tools, and other software to ensure comprehensive tracking and management of all donor interactions and fundraising data throughout the donor lifecycle.
• Analyze data on donor engagement, giving patterns, and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations that inform donor engagement strategies and fundraising approaches.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for donor engagement and retention, monitoring the effectiveness of development programs and supporting data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in development operations, project management, or a similar role within a Jewish nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
• Strong knowledge of donor management systems, CRM software, and data analytics tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Proven experience in process improvement and operational efficiency, with the ability to design and implement scalable workflows
• Knowledge of fundraising principles and best practices is an asset, though direct fundraising experience is not required.
